Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday night said that strict action would be taken after a video of a woman being stripped and paraded naked in Rajasthan’s pratapgarh district surfaced on internet.
“In Pratapgarh district, a video of a woman being stripped naked by her in-laws has surfaced due to a family dispute between her family and her in-laws.The DGP has been instructed to send ADG Crime to the spot and take strictest action in this matter,” Gehlot posted on X.

“There is no place for such criminals in a civilised society. These criminals will be put behind bars as soon as possible and will be tried and punished in the fast track court,” said Gehlot in his post.
The Rajasthan police said in a statement that both the victim and the accused are from the tribal community and police have constituted six teams to detain the accused.
DGP Umesh Mishra said that all eight accused have been identified.
