Varalakshmi Vratam is observed by people, especially women, in the southern states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Vratam (fasting) is commemorated by married women, who pray for the well-being of their loved ones in the family, for their husbands and for their future generations. One of the common beliefs is that worshipping goddess Varalakshmi on this day is equivalent to offering prayers to Ashtalakshmi or the eight goddesses of Wealth, Earth, Learning, Love, Fame, Peace, Pleasure, and Strength.
A week ago, Klin Kaara had warmed the hearts of netizens as Ram Charan and Upasana posted a picture of her being cradled by her paternal grandfather Chiranjeevi, who was beaming with a wide smile, all in celebration of the megastar’s 68th birthday.
“Happiest Birthday to our dearest CHIRUTHA – (Chiranjeevi Thatha). Loads of love from us & the Littlest member of the KONIDELA family. 😍,” they noted while sharing the picture on Instagram.
Previously, Upasana had shared a video showcasing the nursery they designed for Klin Kaara in their home. The nursery reflected Charan and Upasana’s profound affection for nature, particularly forests.
